Fall Update

Dear subscribers and supporters:

Just wanted to update all of you on Moto Retro’s status at this point.

Basically, we’re in a holding pattern until I can re-organize the business in a way that’ll make it financially viable. Rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated!

Most of you know I’ve tried to do Moto Retro almost completely by myself, and on a shoestring. I knew going in a few years ago that it would be an uphill climb, and it has proven to be one despite the six superb issues we published.

Right now, I’m talking to several people and companies about a partnership – one that would give us the promotional and distribution horsepower we need to get where we need to be circulation-wise and financially. If it happens, and I think it will, you’ll know immediately. And then we can get back to doing what I (and many of you) feel is the best retro magazine available anywhere.

I would like nothing better than to have Moto Retro celebrate its 50th issue in a handful of years, and I’m working to make that a reality.

Meanwhile, thanks very much for the patience. 99% of you have been hugely supportive during the delay, and I appreciate it more than you know.

A quick note to subscribers: If you’re curious about your subscription status, please shoot me an email (mitch@motoretroillustrated.com) and I’ll get you the info asap. Or, if you can’t email, feel free to call me at 310.849.1845. Obviously, email is easier for me, but I realize not everyone is email-capable.

Hope your summer went well, and as always, please drop me a line if you have questions or comments.

Very best regards,

Mitch
